Our fabrics are entirely hand printed using the traditional and charming block printing technique. Block printing is based on the use of wooden matrices, on which the design to be printed is engraved. The engraving is done by hand. The matrix is smeared with ink using a brush or roller, then it is pressed onto the fabric.
Block printing is an eco-sustainable technique that uses recyclable materials and does not produce pollution.
Each piece is unique and unrepeatable. The small imperfections that may appear on our printed fabrics attest to the result of careful manual craftsmanship.
